Baby knitting romper with hood and raglan sleeves (part 2)

Baby knitting romper with hood and raglan sleeves (part 2)

🔹In my previous post, I started a series about step-by-step knitting of a baby romper with a hood and raglan sleeves using the brioche technique (two-color English ribbing).
🔹In the second part of the series, I will explain how to calculate the yoke of the romper.
🔹The yoke is the section from the neckline to the underarm seams.
🔹As a reminder, the romper is knitted top-down using a seamless technique.

Baby onesie in the Honeycomb pattern

Baby onesie in the Honeycomb pattern

🔹I’ve long wanted to knit a baby onesie using the "Honeycomb" pattern. The onesie is designed for a child aged 12–18 months.
🔹The pattern is very beautiful, textured, and self-sufficient.

🔹This pattern uses more yarn than stockinette stitch and requires smaller needles to look nice.
🔹I used 400 grams of Baby Alpaca Silk by Drops (167m/50g).

🔹You can find the video tutorial for the "Honeycomb" pattern at the link.

This garment is worked flat in pieces from the bottom up, and then sewn together.
Sleeves are uniformly covered with a jacquard stitch pattern which is also applied on both back and front parts of the body in a form of a single stripe. The rest of the body section is knitted using unicolor yarn and stockinette pattern.
Stitch patterns may be worked either from charts. Read RS (odd-numbered) chart rows from right to left; read WS (even-numbered) chart rows from left to right.
